Yeah, they were intentionally made as three pairs of ‘recolours’ in Amending Fences (though Lyra and Minuette are similar, not strictly recolours, as their mane styles are slightly different… And Moondancer has those big eyebrows and glasses, unlike Twilight).
I love the whole picture as well. Lyra just happens to be the cutest part of it. I think if Pinkie had a happier foalhood, then she’d be like this.
