Description
A reenactment of that funny scene from Keep Calm and Flutter on, but with some realism.
GLORY! I have physics simulation in Source Filmmaker! Thank you thank you thank you RaptorNX01!
Sorry about the tiny/choppy gif. When everything on screen moves, gif is a really bad format. This is the best I could do to come in under 10MB. If you’d like to watch it in 60fps with sound effects, click right here or right here!

I guess she uses those velcro stickies to keep the rug in place <3
(actually, it was a technical limitation. The rug is solid, and the physics engine can make things a ball or a cube for math purposes. It looked very silly tumbling around and it clipped through everything.)
(echoes throughout Ponyville)
Is proof of Equestria’s superior architectural integrity and construction methods over our own.
BWAAAAAAH
I have severely missed an opportunity… curses.
Really? No Inception references? Really?
I thought you were better than this, Internet…
The keys here are humor and plot necessity. Slapstick is funny. Lingering injuries usually aren’t, but they’re sometimes needed to drive the story along. Granted, this sort of metafictional thinking isn’t that helpful when trying to suss out the actual behavior of pony physiology (for a given value of “actual.”)
Come to think of it, I recall Rarity being poked in the hand in one episode resulting in injury, too. Hmm. Variable rules! Curse this show!
Touché!
“Read it and Weep” seems to disagree in that regard.
Feeling pinkie keen! Canon says they’re invulnerable, physically! <3
