Considering she’s probably the one who gave it to Spike, I think she’d be disappointed if it wasn’t in his room.

Get out. Wait… I take that back. If it is Flash’s, then I’m just glad he isn’t sharing a bed with Twilight.
Clearly, this is Shining and Cadence’s room in the Crystal Empire. Everyone is surprised that these aren’t they type of “toys” they expected to find in their bedroom.
So what? You saying Spike has multiple rooms? Well, since he doesn’t share a room with Twilight anymore he could now do things boys do in the morning such as fart and if Celestia sends a letter as the gas has spread all over causing a explosion in his room, Twilight could use her Princess money to get Spike a replacement for all the stuff he blew up wity his fartfirebomb…then again that’s just my theory I just thought up of on the fly.
Twilight does appear to have a lot of rooms in her castle. It basically can be a hotel.

Wow, so it seems I was far from the only one to notice that ball right away…
We saw both sitting room and bedroom. I wonder about this one…
Oh yeah, I forgot all about that room.
I guess it looked so similar to her crystal empire guest room in EG that I didn’t retain it.
But we’ve also seen Twilight’s sleeping room and it looks nothing like this.
So either Spike or Twilight having a second bedroom, they changed the look of Spike’s room or someone didn’t know such a room was already drawn and made a new one.

We’ve already seen Spike’s room:
Maybe he got an upgrade for his bed? Or maybe he just moved his stuff in there.
Looks more like Spike’s place; I don’t know anypony else who’d keep a bucket of gemstones on them for any given reason, and Rarity certainly hasn’t shown any prior affection for toy trains.
Didn’t we already see Twi’s room in Amending Fences?
