Very lovely art, very good coloring detail, and lighting effects. As some critiqued, the anatomy is a bit wonky in some places, but still looks nice.

Oookay, I see what you’re getting at now– you’re saying that the overhang between the bottom curve of her rump and the top of her thigh makes it look like there’s an extra hip joint in there, and the shallowness of the curve implied by the shadow of the blinds reinforces that. I disagree– one of the things that messes up a lot of artists who’ve never done Life Drawing is that the top of the femur (and thus the upper line of the leg) is actually stepped out several inches from the hip joint, which is what’s causing that effect you’re noticing– but I can see your point. If I had made it I probably would have deepened the curve in the shadows over her cutie mark and rump to emphasize her curves a bit more, but I probably wouldn’t have attempted this piece in the first place so Lumic4 still wins.

What you’re seeing as her hip is more of a bubbly butt. The artist has put a lot of emphasis on the shallow boundaries between various muscles, which combines with the stark shading to confuse the eye somewhat. Follow the line from her shoulder, around the curve tio her top diamond. That’s the side of her body. The hip makes more sense then.

Her “hip” looks too deep. It looks like another segement of the leg because there is so much space between its front and back.

I have to say “WOW!” to this! A lot of you have already commented the style and tint (contrast), not to mention how sultry Rarity is in the always welcomed ‘that’s all you are gonna get, hehe’ pose. Tastefully nude and at the same time wonderfully censored in a way that makes the imagination run laps like the Indy 500.
 
Mr. (or Ms.) Artist, you did an excellent job! It even looks more like a photo–somepony shot this, possibly as a momento of unbridled passion and just letting go of the same thing, a bit of impulsiveness too.

It’s her aesthetic, her class, and that goddamn lasting time-obliterating voice. Which is funny cuz Rarity is one of only two members of the cast I can see as a virgin. XD
