Twilight from Rescue at Midnight Castle and Twilight from Flight to Cloud Castle.
Yes, that’s Ember looking at them, according to the title. The artist says she makes everything in G3 style because she doesn’t trust herself to get the other gens’ styles right (even though she once did a pretty sweet FIM Fluttershy, like so: >>953958.)

Like I said, I just think there are more show fans than toy fans.
There are thousands of people who enjoy MLP more for the toys than the shows. It’s not fair to generalize like that, though in the end I suppose the fine for distinction reasons.
Of course the whole franchise exists to sell toys. But more of us here - and more people in general, I imagine - are show fans than toy collectors who’d know a character first and foremost by a toy feature that didn’t show up onscreen in any way.
G1 was a toy franchise first, not a TV show.
It’s just that in-universe, the “so soft” toy gimmick doesn’t get referred to. Nobody ever called her that, her name was just Twilight.
And there were a lot, but it’s the Twilights, the Cheerilees, and Cloudchaser/Cloud Chaser who actually got to show up onscreen. The Cloudchasers were even in the same episode. (Though nobody called Cloud Chaser by name, and he was just credited as “Band Pony.”)
You’d especially think someone wouldn’t have given major characters like the Cheerilees the same name. Especially since the second Cheerilee looked just like preexisting character Cherry Blossom. Instead of just making her Cherry Blossom, someone said “Let’s give her the same name as the leader of Unicornia from the last arc, just for the hell of it!” and actually got listened to. Seriously, Hasbro… [facepalm]
Also G1 had a good many ponies throughout it’s 10 year run with the same or similar names, but there were less repeated names in the UK as dozens of ponies had unique names there.
The poor soul that has to chase G3 Rarity around, and the Core 7 one.
There were two Cheerilees in G3? Huh, I don’t remember that one. :)
Especially to Ember, close to (and fanonically the daughter of) unicorn Twi but looking so much like pegasus Twi. Who’s her real mommy, hmm? I do remember one fanfic where the Twilights were cousins.
But yeah, she was there.
And don’t think Hasbro’s gotten any better about it. Just ask Cheerilee and Cheerilee from G3, and Cloudchaser and Cloud Chaser (aka “Band Pony,” aka “that guy who looks like Thunderlane”) from FIM. At least the Twilights were years apart.
