honestly, I see it as having both meanings. “Horsepower” in that Fluttershy and any other “moe” MLP character is a horse, and “more horsepower” to me at least, in that I am really happy to see western cartoons following moe tropes too, because I tend to find big-eyed American/Canadian cartoon girls more attractive than comparable ones in anime, and speaking in English more attractive than speaking on Japanese. But I guess that’s because I was an otaku for over ten years, got sorta sick of it, and MLP was what made me start liking western cartoons way more than I had. And either way, I love moe stuff.
