Story Title: The Silver Challenge Cup

Summary: The jumping competition is about to begin, and Lemon Drop is expected to win–as usual.

Comments: In honor of the 2012 Summer Olympics, a jumping show starring My Easily Distracted Ponies. (Really, Bow-Tie? That couldn’t have waited?)

Firefly is the G1 pony most often compared to G4 Rainbow Dash–and justly so, since Rainbow Dash was indeed based directly off of Firefly. But in my opinion the correct equation is “Lemon Drop + Firefly = Rainbow Dash”. Because, sure, Firefly is fast, daring, and does aerial tricks, but Lemon Drop is the athlete who is always practicing, practicing, practicing, gets snappish if someone disturbs her jumps, and accrues blue ribbons and trophies like there’s no tomorrow.

To give an idea of how insanely competitive Lemon Drop is, at one point she agrees to a jumping contest with some spring-sprites … and refuses to back down even after realizing their jumps are like nine feet high and made of barbed wire.
