Crow Bait, our lone protagonist hears her name being called as she’s on her way back home after a nice night in town. Looking around she sees nopony around. As she Gets closer to home the voice gets louder, still coming from seemingly nowhere. Arriving at her doorstep she hears it so clearly it sends shivers up her spine. It sounds like it’s coming from inside her home! Certain to find a horrible monster, she decides to find somepony else to help her, just incase. But even after turning back the voice keeps following her. The sky darkens all the while as stormy clouds set in. Starting to panic Crow speeds up her search and begins galloping. The buildings start to get harder and harder to make out, the street lamps start to look like trees.
And before she knows it, she’s in a forest. Lost. The voice has stopped for now, or maybe it just can’t be heard over the rustling and growling of the wildlife. Crow Bait, having found nopony to help her is on her own. She makes the decision to…

Good idea. ^^
All alone in the dark forest, Crow Bait wanders between the trees, hoping to find the edge of the forest. “I-it can’t be f-far, right? I just ran the wrong way.” She had to find her way back home before the storm hit. Her mom was going to be worried if she wasn’t there.
What had her mother said about situations like this? Stay in the same place until somepony found her?
Crow Bait had only to take one look around to know she didn’t want to stay here a minute longer than she needed to. Besides, it wasn’t like she was lost, she just didn’t know the way. The howling of the wind through the leafs sounded like wild animals, but there couldn’t be any so close to town, could there? “J-just the wind.”
To drown out the terrifying sounds, Crow Bait started singing. One of tunes that had been spreading through Equestria after some kind of big event. Crow wasn’t really sure what that event was. She started out strong. “G-giggle at the g-ghostly!” But, her voice slowly died out to just a whisper as she continued singing. “Uhm, guffaw at the g-grossly. C-crack up at the creepy…errm, Whoop it?”
While she sang, she kept wandering it around, hoping to find anything she’d recognize, or anypony she could ask for help.
