I admit, I’m not a huge M.M. fan either, sense I didn’t grow up with his games. (Only M.M. games I actually loved/mastered are “Megaman 2,” and Gameboy “Megaman IV.” The others I just couldn’t really play more then once.) I like Megaman, I’m just not as into his series as other fans are.

I don’t know, Ian actually said Sega gives him alot of freedom with the Sonic series, and I think I prefer the Sonic comics personally. Though, I do agree the M.M. comics are pretty good and have an intreresting take on the characters and series mythos.

I think Archie & Ian do a good job on both series. It’s a shame Nintendo turned down Archie Comics’ offers to do a mini-series based off their games… (You think Sega’s touchy about Sonic? Nintendo will hardly let anyone use their franchises. They wouldn’t even let Disney use many of their characters in “Wreck-it Ralph.” If you look at that movie Sega & Capcom let them use alot of their characters, even some obscure ones.)

Nope. I’m a big platform nut, yet I’m not to keen on Megaman(I own all of two Megaman games myself, and they are not even platformers lol) but own more or less the entire Sonic series(I even like the glitchy games, but more for the “Gee, what will go wrong today? I can’t wait to find out”-factor XD). It’s not that I dislike Megaman, it’s that I just don’t feel bothered to get his games when other platformers fit my taste better.

I like Ian’s Megaman comic a lot though, currently more than the Sonic one he does, though that’s honestly because he seems to get a lot more room to play around with his ideas on Megaman due to Capcom being kinda eh on the character, while Sega are watching Archie like hawks after the Penders debacle.

Well, it’s made by the same people as the Megaman comic. :P

I have a few issues of the Megaman comic. It’s pretty good, but I think I prefer the Sonic series. I’m probably the only person here who prefers Sonic over Megaman overall.

Sorry.

To be fair, the comic still has the game & SatA.M. characters, (including Naugus & Uncle Chuck) as well as some new/exclusive characters/settings. (Like those Marine-life Mobians) So they do seem to be trying to be rebuilding the continuity/universe. (Plus some events from the “old canon” are still canon like the Death Egg 2, and such.)

While I’m disapointed to about the semi-reboot, as well. (Thanks, Ken Penders) One silver lining is, it’s almost like getting a new Sonic comic series, and I’m curious what we’ll see in the new canon, and what new characters/places we’ll see, as well. The new canon doesn’t look that bad. (Surprisingly, they brought back and retooled “Breezie” from the AoStH show.)

Sadly, I can’t afford to renew my subscription, but currently, they’re doing a second Sonic & Megaman crossover (which includes characters from the “Megaman X” canon, as well as the “Sonic Boom” and Sonic comic canons) which looks cool.

Unfortunately I bet she ended up quitting after the lawsuit happened. I know I did. I know that it’s not really anyone’s fault but Ken Penders, but when your comic is forced to remove 90% of the cast as well as elements that made it unique, you’d be better off just canceling it and starting a new comic all over. I’m still bitter over that…….. Though thankfully there are plenty of fanfics that continue off from before Ken messed up everything.

Not all of them do, I like both Sonic & Ponies. Alot of bronies actually do like Sonic, it’s just Sonic tends to catch drama here, because trolls love to spam the site with “bad/mediocre” Sonic fanart crossovers, or “copy-and-paste” images. So those tend to bring the Sonic-haters out of the woodwork. People here who tend to hate Sonic seem to be more outspoken about their hate of him, while the Sonic fans usually stay silent about the drama.

Because bronies can’t get their head out of their ass and realize that they’re no longer the target demographics for the Sonic franchise. Rather than focusing on a few good Sonic games, they’re going to continue to bash the franchise with the Sonic 06 bullshit.
