Speaking Fancy - For helping with translations

@Yukimazan

If I were to hazard a guess, I’d say SuperDEF was on the right track and something about Trixie’s self-love makes it repellant to Changelings.

Like, say, selfless love where you want to do anything you can to make your partner happy might taste great, but a selfish love where you’re the most important person in your life might taste, for want of a better word, wrong.

I imagine other kinds of twisted love like yanderes or brocon/siscon might also taste odd to the Changelings.

Allow me to give as literal as translation as possible first, then we can figure out appropriate lines.

Panel 1:

Trixie: With my strength, I can’t beat her… (she uses 勝てない/ katenai as in ‘can’t win’)

Panel 2:

Panel 3:

Chrysalis: Your love tastes awful. (she uses 不味い/mazui as in ‘bad’ or ‘tastes bad’)

Floating text: I’m surprised. (she uses びっくりした/bikkurishita, the past tense of bikkuri i.e. ‘surprised/ shocked’)

Panel 4:

Trixie: ?!
