Like some of the others said, it’s been way too long since they last shared a moment like this. To me, it felt like after the Crystal Empire two-parter, the writers were going out of their way to avoid giving these two scenes together, and Shining wasn’t even mentioned at all in “Three’s a Crowd” despite the fact that it would’ve taken all of maybe two lines and ten seconds to explain his absence. This moment right here is the first time since the Crystal Empire two-parter that they’ve actually shared some screentime together, AND it’s a cute moment of them showing their love for each other.

For Cadence and Shining Armor, seeing Matilda and Cranky tying the knot only reminded them of how happy they were when they become husband and wife back in A Canterlot Wedding.
 
Also, Cadence resting against Shining as he put his arm around her: Priceless!!
 
Beautiful way to have Cadence and Shining Armor make their first appearance in Season 5!! Hope we see them again in a later episode!! Same for Celestia and Luna!!

Best scene with them since S03E02.
