This has gone very off topic. and I don’t thing Fluttershy is a Spartan from any generation. Even if she does appear to be Nigh-Invulnerable here.

Well then that would negate the events in “Fall of Reach” unless only part of “Reach” are cannon. In which case what part’s of either are non-cannon?

Reach is cannon, those are Spartan IIIs. Except Jorge, whose a Spartan II.

So does that make Reach non-cannon? Because I really liked Reach. But also I haven’t read all of the books so I’m missing quite a bit of what going on in those. Also the the M.I.A. comment was supposed to be a quick joke.

Actually, as stated in the development of Halo 4, all the books are cannon. And certain videos on Halo legends. And all the films.

Well, if we’re going to go down that road, we have to figure out whether or not the books are cannon or if only some of the books are cannon, and what happened to Jun-A266 is Halo Reach cannon? and the only real relief to all of this is that ODST has nothing to do with the spartan program, so whether or not that’s cannon is irreverent.
 
So it’s probably best to just leave this as it is and not try to figure all of this out because Halo’s cannon is a bit unkempt to say the least before Halo 4 with the spartan 4’s which you can argue aren’t true Spartans due to the differences in the modifications biologically and… Nope stopping myself. This is just a bad idea.

Actually if you play only the Halo games, you get the gist of the Chiefs the only one. If you read and each the other things, you’ll know actually quite a few are still around. Chief’s still got his blue team, grey teams on another mission, Naomi’s in a special ONI team called kilo-five, Maria is retired and tests new armors. And don’t forget, I don’t Spartan IIs became Spartan IIs. And there’s a lot left unknown because: ONI.
