(Note: This is for FF18, RD + FS, so this cover has nothing to do with the content. But it is the best anti-trixie cover ever :)
Buuurrn!
I like her, I guess that makes you a nobody then.
Silly Seth. ;)
Me too. She’s a great character with a lot of potential. I hope she returns this season.
Yes, by then she was already anti social and thought such things weren’t worthwhile even when Spike was trying to get her to open up. My point was that factors likely led her to become anti-social in the first place.
<headcanon> I assume Celestia’s school was at least somewhat competitive since it was only for the best, and when Twily showed up it’s hard for me to imagine that all other unicorns loved the new awkward oh-so-gifted purple filly who gets special attention from the princess.
And continuing that reasoning, with her being driven, standoffish and awkward it’s easy to picture how others could interpret that as Twilight thinking she was better than them. </headcanon>
Not saying ALL ponies would fit that of course, the ones we saw at first seemed fine. But many Trixie-type unicorns might have been.

That may be, but we also saw in the very first episode that the other students were trying to reach out to her. Spike was trying to get her to be more sociable, he bought gifts for the ponies Twilight was too busy to visit. Just saying that they’re from Canterlot and therefore shallow doesn’t make sense if you remember how they were trying even back then.
To clarify, what I meant is that Twilight probably didn’t just wake up one day and decided spending time with other ponies her age wasn’t worthwhile. It would be more believable to me if she had some bad social experiences that led her on that path.
Her being a nerdy, non-extrovert, socially awkward pony and being treated like something special and given attention by Celestia could be a good recipe for such bad experiences with clasmates, thus setting her more on that path.
That’s still to be seen I suppose. We’ve seen almost nothing of Twilight’s school days and that’s why I said it’d be interesting to see a comic about it. If her magic kindergarten reaction was anything to go by she was given a hard time at school like many nerds. If so, it would serve to make her unsociable traits worse.
I could also totally see quite a few ponies at Celestia’s school not being fond of her for getting to be Celestia’s oh-so-special personal pupil. It would be an understandable impression on their part.
Yeah, except her schoolmates really were trying to be besties. That’s on Twilight, not them.
Outta the way, you!
Probably invited Trixie.
Knowing the Canterlot folk, they’d just act like they were besties all along because she’s important :p
FlutterShy.
is Fluttershy you dumb fabric…
flash sentry?
