Primarily from “Ponyville Confidential” (seeing how they react to her being named editor), with a bit of “Family Appreciation Day”, “Twilight Time” and “Call of the Cutie”. It’s a very much a far extrapolation from those events, but so far is consistent.

Although if Silver did ever become friends with the CMC’s, I think she’d try to convince them to include Diamond somehow. It’s clear she’s probably the only pony who cares about Di/likes her the way she is (kinda’ like how Phoebe from Hey Arnold! was the only character who liked Helga/was friends with her - she even kinda’ looks like her, funnily enough) and I doubt she’d leave her out to dry.
 
I’m currently doing an RP with just such a set up - the CMC’s spend some time with Silver Spoon after she’s had a particularly bad day and discover they like her and she’s a lot of fun to be around. However, when they offer her membership in the Cutie Mark Crusaders’, she refuses unless they include Diamond alongside her. Hijinks ensue.

Yeah, that’s my headcanon too. SS would dump DT if she could if she could gain better friendships elsewhere, but she’s probably believing she burnt all her bridges and would stay with DT fearing she couldn’t make new friends. (And that said, I would love it that if that ever happened, the CMC would jump to accept her apologies and allow her to hang with them.

I’ve always figured Silver Spoon is the only real friend that DT has and that any other ponies we see hanging out with DT are either acquaintances or ponies who are spending time with her to get their hooves on some of her goodies. While Silver would probably be quite popular without DT, she stays with her out of a sense of loyalty and also knowing that DT would be all alone without her.

They aren’t shown popular, with most of the school foals disliking them, but behind their backs if anything, since they also know they are the most-well treated by their parents. The type of people you don’t want to be friends with at all but want to be riding their coattails for the benefits that confers (like big cutecenera parties)

Aren’t they popular girls of the school? Finding a third member should be easy for them.

I agree in sentiment, but they really should be able to catch obvious errors like this, especially stuff that’s going out for marketing previews.

I’m sop hyped.

Blame me for this one; I was poking fun at some people’s tendency to act like utterly minor errors ruin the whole thing instead of actually legit problems on another scan from this.
