Though, seriously, I just took this as a parody to all the blind hate she gets, despite how much she’s shown to be practical and popular. So by extension, those who are at the bottom must bow to the popular opinion, and those who don’t are the outcast of society like the CMC who represent free thought and expression in a world that knows only what they’re told to like, which makes those them seek out those who conflict with their limited reality to lash out against those who are free thinkers.

Well, there is talk of possible character development in the current season, although we’ve yet to see it for ourselves.

If freaking Discord can be “redeemed”, than there’s plenty of hope for Diamond Tiara.
