always with the changelings you people. they already clog the fanfictions enough, can’t we just have regular goddamned zombies for once? not that i hate changelings or the concept, but they are way too common.  
game is awesome.

That’s really clever! However,I have a few problems with it. Mainly a few small details.
 
  1. Zombie head on a plate, if it’s a changeling why does it not kill Octavia on sight?  
  2. A preview shows the zombie colt getting burned by acid, leaving a pony skeleton, changelings are bugs with exoskeletons, however maybe that transforms when they disguise.  
  3. The largest issue I have is…  
    Why does the zombie colt eat the zombie head??? Changelings eat love not each other.
     
    I hope you come up with more theories, I love reading them!
     
    Because you might be on to something with changelings replacing ponies. It’d make sense why there isn’t a rescue party for the prisoners before Vinyl’s arrival!

I think I just put it together…none of these zombies are ZOMBIES. THEY’RE JUST CHANGELINGS…although that would mean Octavia DOES die in a Game Over and is just replaced with a Changling who shape shifts into a zombified version of her.
