Then I apologize for not seeing what you mean. Because comparing those pics, I genuinelly don’t see anything major. It’s a clear horse nose to me.

In that image the nostrils are also facing forward and thus, flatly against the end of the nose. the nostrils are supposed to be on the corners of the face. Imagine a rectangle with two of the corners cut off, like the end is an isosceles trapezoid.
What you’re saying makes no sense. The nostrils don’t look like a pig’s.

I don’t care what the artist was going for. That’s undeniably a pig nose. Go look at a real horses nose and compare them side by side.
Not sure what you’re on about. There is spece between the nostrils in the picture, and they are somewhat angled. Maybe you should look at the artist’s other works to see what they’re going for.

One picture among the hundreds that I’ve seen. I have seen ponies with smaller nostrils. Some only have slits and although that may be hard to believe, remember this: Life is diverse in infinite variations.
