Yes because disabled people should never ever at all want to be able to do whatever it is they can’t or dream about doing it. Begone, foul tumblrina!
First thing I do when I realize I have control over a dream is fly around, and I’m not even an orange horse.

I imagine if I couldn’t walk, and was able to lucid dream, I would walk in my dreams.
Why would a disabled person NOT want to do what they can’t do in real life, in their dreams? That’s realistic depiction, dude. People in wheelchairs want to walk but they can’t, it’s a tragedy. Here’s a respite from that, where in dreams, the only limit is your mind.
This is the equivalent of having an episode of The Magic School Bus, wherein a paralyzed kid is told that s/he can dream of anything s/he wants, and the immediate reaction is to get out of his/her wheelchair and walks.

At which point Sweetie Belle hmms a moment, then pulls over another Sweetie Belle, and begins making out with her.

Even presuming the worst:
This scene made me feel cheerful and good, not sad.
Is that bad?
She flies like her idol. Doing all the tricks. Then wakes up to barely being able to hover off the ground for more than 3 seconds.
Scootaloo gave herself a sad. lol
I will reserve feels until there’s some 100% canon confirmation one way the other.
The constant ‘late blooming’ CMC stuff might be influencing my presumption though.
