I love this so much!
But then the armored knight/paladin mares would remain in that stuffy armor with no daring but gentle raider stallions to cuddle them!
How awful!
If there’s disrupting tech, somebody is going to figure out shielding. So that depends.
I’d say a repair talisman would go down with everything else. Matrix-disruptor grenades fry all magitech in their blast radius, whether it’s interlocked or not.
Hmm… valid point, but to be honest, i’m not the one to ask about that.
My headcanon is yes, they are, but that’s besides the point.
And we are right back were we started. I guess it is the question of whether or not the talismans are connected directly to the matrix or is a separate system altogether?
cough matrix disruption grenade cough
That’s what they’re called in-fic, anyways. I’ve seen people refer to them as spark/pulse grenades by mistake, though.

Then the talismans should be actively repairing the armor.
Purely arcane. themoreyouknow.jpg
Are talismans effected electromagnetic pulses or are they purely arcane?
She was hit with a spark grenade, wouldn’t that render those talismans inactive as well?
Sorry, heh.
I just wouldn’t have known if Bullet Holes was the, erm, cuddly type for it to be sufficiently in-character.
damn
similarity is coincidental.
