It logged me out with out me realising. Lawl.
Hey, Fox, what’s the point of having an account and posting as anonymous if you’re going to say that you’re Fox after all? XD
Anyway, don’t worry: most of the comments were written about the previous version of the image, with the misplaced eye. And I fear some other complained about it forced by mere suggestion, even after you fixed it. So take them for what they are.
Not all of us. Just the nitpicky assholes who have never drawn anything. You have a new watcher.
To be fair, at least some of it is from before the eye placement was corrected.
As OneOverTwo noted, your art is good enough that errors really stand out, and that’s a pretty good place to be in. Anime art is so far gone there’s not much point in critiquing it usually as the artist has already given up on improving in favor of maintaining their style. This looks really good once the eye was adjusted a bit, as that was the only really big error in it.
I love your style and hope to see more from you, I just want to point out things you may not have noticed because sometimes it is hard to see stuff that’s obvious to other people just because you’ve been looking at the piece so long in drawing it.
Hey, cheer up, it’s because of how realistic the picture is drawn that a small mistake would be so visible. It was clear from the start that art was drawn with skill & even before the mistake was fixed the score was quite up there.
Don’t feel bad about people nitpicking, they’re only mentioning what was sticking out as a small flaw in good work.
Anyways the point is don’t fret, good art is good, fixed art is better, but being down in the dumps is the worst.
Try your best to not let it get to you, even if it’s hard sometimes.
I know, I know. XD I go there for the art, and nothing very little else.
except that the-smiling-pony is also on there, as well as tons of the artists you all love and worship ;3
Tumblr?!
excuse me for being on tumblr where the word note is still used lol, it’s not anywhere close to being from the darkest reaches of the internet XD
You obviously didn’t see the original before the artist fixed it.
er…what the hell do those last two have to do with it not being a photo?
The eyes aren’t quite perfect yet, and the mouth orientation needs a little tweaking.
The freckles doesn’t look like human freckles.
The rest is very good. The nose is adorable, the hair excellent, the lighting… fantastic.
