First off, I extracted screencaps from the episode in VideoStudio Pro. Then, I took each screencap and put them in paint.net, where each cap was serving as its own layer.
I saved the file as .agif (animated gif), and it looked fine, but when I tried to upload it here, it rejected the file extension. I tried saving a copy as gif but I just ended up with a still image.
So then I fired up Photoshop Elements 8 and tried doing the same method, but when I tried to animate the whole thing, it said the file was too large and I needed to cut down the number of layers. That’s why my image ended up looking so choppy.
