A rather interesting reminder that AJ actually has elite relatives and was essentially trained as a debutante but is more at home in the country. At the same time, Rarity born and raised in the sticks is on the outside looking in with her fashion and desire to emulate the elite lifestyle; thankfully her talent gets her hoof in the door.

Rarity might not be as sophisticated as we previous believed.  
No wonder it takes Fluttershy forever to finish her meal. She takes food in nibble amounts.

Man, Fluttershy is eating a LOT.

I think Rarity chewing with her mouth open relates to the fact that she probably taught herself concerning prim and proper manners. Chewing with the mouth open is something her parents did and so while she eats she’s so lost in the moment she slips her facade and drops back into what she grew up with.

Prim and proper Rarity chewing with her mouth wide open. Applejack chews with her mouth closed. Other than that, it looks like everyone else was spot on.

What I like about this scene is how it serves as a reminder for each characters’ personality, and the way how they play off each other serves as a great (yet subtle) source of humour.
 
We have Fluttershy gently nibbling the fruit of her pancake, juxtaposed with Rainbow Dash taking big bites and chewing with her mouth open.
 
We see Prim and Proper Miss Rarity using a fork, right next to Queen Slob Pinkie Pie gorging herself on a giant dollop of whipped cream.
 
Finally, we get a nice little callback to Applejack’s table manners, contrasted with a cut to Twilight looking… less than presentable.

I just realised, Rainbow Mouth must be open so wide!
