Her best quality is how she repersents a threat not to pony kind but to their society. Nigthmare moon wanted to end all life, Discord wanted to make Eqestria unrecongnizble,Chysalis wanted to suck out all the love out of pony-kind and Tireck wanted to steal all its magic for power. In all of these they want to destroy Pony civilzation or at least render it incapable of functioning. Starlight here wants to change pony society as a whole, not destroy or render inert but to form a new social order that is completely contrary to Celestias Harmony. Her version of friendship is the first true ideaolgical threat to Celestia ever shown.And that’s why she is best villian.

Not really sure about SJW hint,i’m pretty sure people saw analogy with Tumblr since the website is the popular punching ball nowadays.I mean,if you wanted the character to be a complete SJW caricature,you think they’ll be more hints of Starlight being a misandrist.
