A CONVENIENT TRUTH?
On one hand, it’s a good premise and, all things considered, is a pretty good story. I can dig a story about a pony who lives past the mistakes of her past self.
On the other hand, the middle chunk of the story is incredibly dull, Nyx is a blatant Mary Sue who can do no wrong, multiple characters are incredibly out of character, and the writing itself really isn’t that amazing. It’s your typical super-popular but not all that great story, like Twilight or Shades of Grey. Mileage varies from reader to reader, but I was never all that impressed.
