Actually, Soldier is pretty darn useful, probably one of the more versatile playable characters. But I’ll assume you’re more angry at someone using their OC instead of an actual character?
That is the artist’s choice. They don’t have to keep it entirely pure, just like you don’t have to like that they don’t.

That’s one way of looking at it and it does make sense. For this one I just wanted them as the mercs though, ‘cause I was thinking more along the lines of someone like Chrysalis coming along as Gray Mann and I’m sure not interested in the idea of killing off Celestia and Luna.
Hmm, I like that. But only if Luna was Nightmare Moon.
To be fair, I don’t think either of them would fit as mercs. They make more sense as Redmond and Blutarch.
