Just because something may or may not be made with marketing in mind, doesn’t mean it’s automatically bad you know.
 
Also, really? I was getting a little tired of the elements getting pulled out at every encounter, it’s nice to see something a bit different and fresh.

Let’s see. Twilight is an alicorn AND a princess, Elements of Harmony are destroyed and replaced by this awful-looking Rainbow Power, and Twilight’s library is destroyed and replaced by a freaking crystal castle that screams “BUY OUR SHIT! Love, Hasbro”.
 
I see no reasons to get hyped to anything.
