Your not making sense.Your saying shes good at one thing,but then saying she sucks at everything else.Make up your mind.

Cook should stick to slice of life comedies becasue she suck at everything
Anderson should just stick to normal slice of life because he suck at comedy
No doubts about it. But I have to admit I found some… Enjoyment out of that trainwreck of a wrap up. It was just so… Insane how the story fucked up its own rules just to end the story. As for the Mirrorverse.. We did see a lot of it, but in really small bits and details. Another case of “Show, don’t tell” or more precisely “Show but not just small hints”
Not really, no.
She’s decent at world building, and great when it comes to slice of life comedy, but she really doesn’t do epic well.
The first bits of Reflections were quite good, but the wrap up was TERRIBLE. It made no sense, there was no tension, it was deus ex machinaed and a flood of other problems.
Not to mention the entire arc being a case of ‘Covers always lie’ since we saw SO little of the mirror verse.

No she would be good at writing serious stories if she stopped sabotaging herself be undercutting any serious moments with inappropriate jokes that to questionable characterization
She’s decent, but the main thing that kills them is her need for joke upon joke, which kills it in the end.

Actually… She could write serious stories. I ACTUALLY liked the serious parts of Reflections. It’s her incesant need for comedy that kills the mood, specially when she gives more focus on jokea than actual storytelling. At least Reflections was less jokes and more focus on worldbuilding… Perhaps too much worldbuilding.
Stick to comedy, Cook. You’re crap at trying to tell a ‘serious’ story.
