Nipples are perfectly fine and i would agree with you on the panties part but derpibooru usually favours the opposite.

Exactly. You get a lot of that on old Derpibooru pictures. Even the big-name uploaders stumble every once in a while.
must have been that the original uploader didnt know what he was doing and uploded and a lesser version.
There’s not much point in trying to post higher res for my pictures. I put up all of the source files, so someone could potentially do a 6000 px version.
thats the downside of higher quality reposts.

I find it difficult to, for lack of a better word, “argue” with any of you because there’s nothing more I can say other than I’ve always read them as being lighthearted fun.
Though admittedly, until @paluzna pointed it out, I had completely forgotten about the “fights” that sometimes occur in RD pic threads. Which you’re right, does push it into a “trying to hard to compensate” area.
I’d probably be there with you if it wasn’t such a regular thing with him. I don’t really mind such comments for the most part, silly people being silly is part of the net. But the more consistently someone does this sort of thing, the harder it is for me to take it as lighthearted fun. It pushes either into ‘trying too hard to compensate’ or ‘actually 100% genuine’ territory. The ‘genuine’ option unsettles me more, and again, T-storm never really seems to have a humorous edge to his comments, so… unsettling.

All perfectly valid reasoning, but the main one I’ve found that separates them in my mind? T-storm has the unsettling tendency to address Dash directly. Chrysalislover rarely does, and on those odd occasions when it does happen, he has a more tongue-in-cheek feel about it, treating it just as silly as it is. Which is a feeling T-storm’s direct comments don’t really have. That’s… that’s mostly where the creepy factor comes in for me.
