Thinking about it, all of the dangerous, flammable, expense tech Twilight had in the basement lab is now just a cavalcade of glass, papers, and metal. So much research lost.
Spike, though, lost his comic book collection and every other collectable knick-knack he had gathered and was stashing away. For a young dragon, losing your first hoard has to be utterly heartbreaking.
