^ To further clarify, Spike doesn’t go to school, has a job, is left by himself for extended periods of time while Twilight is out of town, was left to look after Fluttershy’s animals in ‘Dragonshy’, hangs out exclusively with the mane 6 as opposed to any of the obviously elementary school student aged kids in the show, and all around acts like your normal tv representation of a lazy, gluttonous, snarky teenager.

^ Really, how do you figure? The CMC seem to be in the area 7 or 8 years old. Spike on the other hand, based on how he acts and the way other characters treat him I would peg to be somewhere around 15 to 17.

Meh, he’d have to actually interact with a crusader in a meaningful way before hand or it’d just be silly. Plus it’s probable he’s a bit too old for them.
