Theory:
 
Applejack’s family died in a fire and she tried to get a job at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza to make up for it. She later was killed and stuffed inside an Applejack Fazpony suit and came back to life. Her other friends to become victims were Twibonnie Sparkle, Chica Pie, Foxy Dash, Rarionette and Balloon Fluttershy.
