Despite the victory over Celestia and Luna, the Alicorns finally arrive in Equestria to wipe out all “civilized life”
 
Twilight Sparkle must go to Canterlot and use the supreme element to destroy the Alicorn threat. When she gets there, she finds the illegitimate child of Celestia and Luna, and is given three chices. To kill all the Alicorns, which will likely result in her death due to her being part Alicorn. She can attempt to control the Alicorns, losing herself in the process. Or she can choose synthesis, where everypony’s genes are spliced together so everyone becomes an Alicorn. This apparently stops the Alicorns from attacking.
 
No matter what Twilight picks, her friends don’t even get mentioned, there is no talk about the elements of harmony, and all the trains in Equestria explode for some reason.

72 series? not like seasons? and like all of MLP done forever?  
idk what the fuck wouldn’t have been done in 72 series but I’d definitely do something multiversal with all the apparently 72 generations

That’s how I actually imagined one season to end (just a possibility), then she would come back in the first episode of next season, and some things would have changed.

To be honest? A scene depicting the mane six in their twilight years. As they contemplate their lives, and go over the accomplishments and trials that meant the most to them, they notice a series of younger ponies slowly starting to emulate their own young life. A sort of passing of the flames from one generation to the next, with six NEW friends beginning to explore the magic of friendship. A final image of Princess Celestia - right from the opening - taking the picture of the younger mane six and putting it in a large book filled with similar pictures or paintings… only to turn to one of the new ponies and say, “Now, my little pony, let us begin your first lesson…”

By the time we get to the 72nd season, I’m too busy trying to defend humanity’s last holdout from the Kormidians’ assault.

A team-up featuring every season premiere villain up to that point.

Hmm, I’m thinking a Who Framed Roger Rabbit-esque movie, with the return of (assuming they actually meant 7) all 7+ villains acting as a Guild of Calamitous Intent organization, bent on invading and conquering our earth.  
The villains have some sort of portal into our world, created by the stolen Elements of Harmony, and the mane 6 plus spike enter our world via Pinkie’s 4th wall abilities.
 
I would bring in Peter Jackson and Christopher Nolan to assist, and Michael Bay for (exclusively) the explosion effects.
 
There would be all the great (not just popular, because there is a huge difference) actors/actresses I could get, and perhaps expand the entire thing into a trilogy if it seemed natural to the story.

I would give Applejack a proper episode all to herself with a musical number.

72 seasons? You’d think everything had been done by then.

Everyone becomes a changling for Dr Roboniks pingas and the earth is hit by an asteroid.

If it hasn’t already been done, an episode where the mane six that aren’t Rainbow Dash keep trying to ask her out (except for Applejack) and then it turns out she was dating Big Mac all along. If it has been done by that point, It’ll be a MacinDash wedding episode.
