that’s fair. i actually had a more clear message i was going to post at the start but i couldn’t get the preview image working and ended up deleting the message entirely and just redoing a short “this is like that” thing. my lack of clarity was the issue and i apologize, it was not my intention to mislead anyone.

When I first read your post I construed it as alluding to something, even if it wasn’t. so I wanted to nip that in the bud in case anyone else read it the same way but wasn’t as invested.

i never thought it was traced, nor did i say it was. i actually thought it was the same artist with a different name, or an artist that was inspired by the other.

i should probably add that i actually really like both pictures and was hoping it was the same artist because its nice to see people making new art.

That link in the source for the image you gave shows the upload date for that image as sept of 2014.

Showing July of 2014. If you click around a little bit you discover that this image was up during that time. It was one of the first NSFW pics posted.
It’s not a trace, because it existed before the other image.

oh i agree, its not traced, it just has a lot of similarities that caught my eye. i wonder if they were inspired by this artist
Hmm… I can definitely see the resemblance but a close inspection does not reveal evidence of tracing. Looks to just be a similar art style.
