This did not age well…
Changelings do not have to disguise as actual ponies. They absolutely can make up their own identities and appearances.
It’s just gone. dA says “Deactivated Account” when I go to the main page of the account.
Was it the artist changing their name, or did they just quit the fandom altogether?
Edited
Intentions or not, and assuming changelings have to disguise as actual ponies (and not just make up their own), what happened to the real Fleur?
“Theory time! TBH I didn’t actually know whether Fleur is evil or not, I didn’t plan that far. But I’ve came up with several theories about the ending.
Theory 1: Celly is actually Chryalis and arrived to retrieve her minion, and Fleur is a good changeling.
Theory 2: Celly is real but Fleur is a villain, and secretly planning the invasion with Chrysalis. Fleur lied to us about her past.
Theory 3: Fleur is a good changeling and Celly is real, Chrysalis was never there and there was no twists. The “as it is planned” part is just Fleur’s way of saying she knew everything is going to be fine from the start. (This one I liked the most :))
Theory 4: Celly is real and Fleur is not evil, but her real intention to protect Fancy Pants was so that she can have him to herself.”
I probably had it in my head that someone else directed RE6 because they knew RE5 sucked, but that’s likely wrong, either way. X3
S vs B is too early to tell but from what i know is it’s not a continuation to the nolan stuff so i guess it’s still concluded, at least until nolan makes another one.
Dark Knight Rises has the same problems RE5 had by recalling events from earlier, lesser installments. With Wesker and Umbrella both dead, they had some leyway to make a bunch of other stories that were a bit looser, like in RE4. No idea if Superman vs. Batman is an appropriate allegory for RE6, yet. :T
sad part is when they find a way to conclude it, people get all whiny about it cough darkknightrises cough
That’s probably incredibly common, since not only do the show and comics not know for absolute certain how to end, but a shit ton of fics cannot as well. Outside FiM content, Marvel and DC franchises are never sure how to conclude, so, they simply continue indefinitely. I’d mention One Piece, but I didn’t read that interview on Oda’s intentions. :T
Not quite.
Fleur is a changeling, but she’s not Chrysalis’ minion. Either rogue or refugee, she’s not aligned with the main hive, as indicated either by her distinct magic aura or attacking other changelings. An actual Chrysalis changeling insults her for ‘running away’ the previous page, so it’s safe to say they’re targeting her because of past events with them.
Eh, still. Not bad at all.
Maybe that’s Queen Chrissy coming to rescue her exposed operative? …Or maybe Celestia was just going to bed when Luna showed up.
Well, so much for Fleur being a hidden hero
yep, sounds about right what you’d expect from changelings.
morons…
Well, he did say from the start that it was only going to be 9…
Right, that’s why he said from the start it was only going to be 9 parts.
a ‘to be continued’ would’ve cleared things PLENTY! as is, your argument seems valid.
Wait what? I think 90% of this plot flew right over my head…
