Compared to the other “one-of-everything” diversity pics of humanized Mane Six, this one is miles ahead of many others. I attribute that to the fact that the art in this piece is actually decent and the characters actually look like young women instead of middle-aged drag queens that look like they smoke three packs of Malboros a day.

Heh, Twilight is really cute in this. I always liked her humanization with dark skin tones. I’ll say that I’m also not a fan of Rarity covering her hair entirely like that but whatever, it’s for that “International Women’s Day” thing so it doesn’t bother me. As for the rest, they all look great. Dash especially with the Asian qualities and Pikie looks great too. Glad they decided that AJ would be the all around “Murican” gal as that very obviously suits her. I see “bindi” in the tags…it looks like Shy is supposed to have one? Kinda hard to tell if it’s a bindi or a bit of hair coloring but if so, I like Hinushy as an idea rather well. Usually I think of Twilight as being more Indian and therefore Hindu but it works for Fluttershy pretty well I think.
