Well I guess it is supposed to show how powerful the magic is.
But what about the conditional nature of the magic? How does it decide who is angry at each other and who teams up with each other? I mean in the later case, it actually brings people together.

Yeah. But it especially surprises me even Apple Bloom takes no interest, regardless of the quality of the song. The Apples are a really close knit family!
