She is in essence, A pony version of Aphrodite( Goddess of love, beauty, pleasure and procreation)  
It makes sense that a gender swap wouldn’t slow her down.

I’m not sure how I’d feel if my GF / wife just switched genders on me.
 
I think I’d still love “him,” but being intimate would be pretty awkward.
