That’s probably a reason behind it too, I mean you could ship her with her r63 clone and not much of the dynamic would change.
But Sonic hate, justified or no, seems to prevail over that.
If it makes you feel better, there are some that don’t like that ship but it’s not for hate of Sonic.
I think the ship is stupid but I’m a Sonic fan that enjoys most of the games, even some of the less then favorable ones.
So shipping gets hate cause people hate Sonic.
I figured it was it but…ya know…I was hoping for a better reason, like they are too similar or something.
