There is quite a style change like @PwnyPony said.

I think the shading is better en the new one, but the faces (especially the eyes) are overly detailed. The background also seems WAY to bright. Good progress.

That is really just opinion on this I think.
The style has become more stylized but has also become more detailed with more colour variation.

There are things I prefair in the original like the floor.
There are things I like more in the new like the background.
