Wasn’t that because of the machinations of Evil Celestia and Luna and missing Elements of Harmony? It’s hard to keep a Kingdom on the up with a pair of powerful evil sorceresses attacking you all the time and generally ruining everything for everybody.

Thing is, Equestria Girls was just a waste of space, it didn’t fucking insult me.
The first Equestria Girls movie wasn’t good either, but it was necessary to set up Rainbow Rocks, which was actually worth seeing.
Him appearing again would reaffirm Reflections as canon, and the most I can pretend that this piece of shit is not canon, the happier I will be.
