Alicorn = Prom queen.  
Okay, because EQG was totally not the sequel to the Twilicorn episode.

I don’t think SciLight would be an alicorn. She’s a scientist, not prom queen.

My theory is that this Twilight Sparkle we see is the Twilight that “could have been” if she had decided to return to Canterlot in Episode 2.
 
This one didn’t found the magic of friendship in Canterlot high and therefore moving elsewhere was not a big change to her, this can be seen as how she adresses this school as “that school” instead of saying that it was her past school.
 
Also it could be implied that she dropped out the school due to his high grades and academyc achivements. As for we know she could be working by herself or in a university.

I agreed, background brethren. It’s something I hope to see in the third film: alicorn and unicorn Twilight together in the same scene.

Another nitpick would be that her bun is falling down a bit in the original scene, but since in pony it doesn’t look that god.. well, i guess this works.

This looks great! Though one tiny nitpick would be it’s pretty likely that science Twi isn’t an alicorn (yet)

She should be called Princess of Science
