Honestly, I’d be far more partial to that than I am to the fics where Squiggletail & Purplesmart compete for Spike’s clawed mitt. He & Twiley may not be technically related, but hooking those two up just feels so insular. Twi in particular has come too far outta her S1 shell for such a retrograde ‘you’re-what-I-needed after all’ move. Your proposal would also let the Nightmare come eye-to-eye (on multiple levels) with her former arch-nemesis, so Rivalry Tension(TM)!
And I was probably assuming far too much concern for our ravings on this creator’s part. Point taken.
Oh, you just gave me a crazy idea for this crazy comic with that talk of Twily needing romance. What if, it becomes TwilightxSparity? It’d certainly up the craziness, and it’ll be like all those TwiSparity threesome fics I’ve seen floating around, just without the actual Sparity.
You know, I wonder what vavacung’s thoughts were on our reactions beyond that one comment. I’m guessing not much since it’s better to put time into drawing the actual comic than arguing with the feedback on a site that’s not even where it’s primarily featured lol.
…if nothing else, Twiley needs some romance as a distraction from picking apart every milestone in her friends’ (after)lives.
Anyhow, good to see our prior reactions to the TWIST(R) didn’t turn vavacung off this project. It’s charmingly-illustrated and just nuts enough to work.
Rarity was so quick and blunt with the explanation.

For some reason, The Usual feels weirder… No, that’s a lie, however, vavacung’s and Pyruvate’s styles differ from danger impending to slice of life respectively, but I’d hazard they’re both physically only a mere few hundreds of miles apart. :j
