what I always say when people complain about the popularity of less effort photos is “Don’t dictate to an audience what it can or can not enjoy.” I’d prefer if the ones I put a tonne of effort into would be more popular- but people like what they like. =) shrug
Any pony with complaints can shut the hell up; the fans reward cleavage, not effort.
