Huh. Had no idea.
I think it’s meant to be a “classical unicorn” look, like from heraldry and stuff.
Some artists cheat by drawing her tail like that. Admittedly, it is rather hard to draw.
To be fair, I was to young to care at the time, I was basically a toddler.
I dunno, I had a younger sister and she never did that, probably because I’m an older brother rather than a younger one.
She did hit me for a bit though until I started hitting back.
Ponies also don’t talk in real life.

Anyhow, I thought forced feminization required either blackmail or holding someone still and shoving the outfit on them, essentially. This seems to me like it’d just be surprise feminization.
Also spike did wear that frilly apron in that one episode, apparently of his own volition, so I’m not sure this’ll bother him much.
Unless his nails clash with his scales, of course.
