Bio: It wasn’t really a surprise to anypony when Discord and Fluttershy ended up in a relationship. Fluttershy’s emotional manipulation of Discord faded from her mind as she began to fall in love with the God of Chaos, and Discord always harbored a feeling of affection for the pony after his rehabilitation. Years after Twilight’s castle was constructed, Discord and Fluttershy had a daughter named Unnatural. Years later, they had another.
Personality: Enyo takens a lot after her mother. She’s unsure of her self, very self-conscious of how she appears. She’s very sensitive to insults and teasing, often driven to tears because of it. Although she’s the most normal looking child between the two of them (The other being Unnatural) she is still teased about her eyes, which is why she often hides behind her hair.
Discord gave her an enchanted Apple when she was still a filly, an item that he had kept in his discordant dimension for safe keeping. He had this Apple when he was young, getting used to his powers. This Apple helped him boost control and power over them, which Enyo had little of. Enyo had no discordant powers, but with the aid of the Apple she had magic, which boosted her self-confidence by a little.
She’s often seen in the Everfree Forest, using her Apple where nopony will bother her. To be sure she will never lose her Apple, Enyo often turns the apple into her cutie mark (She doesn’t have a real cutie mark, she just wills the apple to be her cutie mark, since she doesn’t want to be bullied about being a blank-flank as well.)

You’re forgetting that Discord, specifically, is about breaking rules and doing the impossible. I doubt very much that the average cross-species couple can breed, at least not without heavy use of magic at the level of a unicorn like Twilight was, but Discord can probably do almost any damn thing he wants to as long as it doesn’t make a whole lot of sense. So Discord could probably breed with a pony and produce offspring that are pony, draconequus, or anything in between.

Still being a chimera doesn’t mean he can breed with every race. Even if this is a cartoon we have to keep some kind of logic. Its not Ren and Stimpy kind of cartoon where pigs eat rainbows and dance at the disco. Since there is almost no chimeras in the show i assume that they have similar mechanics of genes. And Mr Cake explanation about his kids pretty much confirm this
You are kinda over thinking it. Remember, it’s a cartoon. In a way it doesn’t matter what the genetics are, he still is part “horse.” Technically speaking, some of Fluttershy’s traits are probably more dominant than his when it came to this offspring. But this is just one of their “foals.” The person who created this also created a sibling with more draconequus traits. Gotta look at genetics at a different angle. Just fooling around with the punnett square can be fun.

The same people who attack and bully mutants in the Marvel universe with no concern as to whether maybe the mutant has the power to suck all the oxygen out of their bloodstream and leave them to choke to death in the middle of fresh air, or make their heads explode, or mind control them into playing in traffic.
