Das racis
I thin he may have just meant the Tantabus/Avatar thing.
But I own you.
So… Yes.
Here
Too late, you already accepted Scrounge’s headcanon; your decision is null and void.
Now go back to thinking like you used to.
Tirek would use MONARCHS!
For Tirek I’d give him Greydles
>Archetype based around stealing from the opponent
>Based around destruction
>Greydles and Tirek are both foreign invaders bent on destruction
Headcanon accepted and printed
The Tantabus seems like a perfect match to The Wicked Avatar
I really need to check that info.
Oh, that’s just one example. Oftentimes the rarer a card is, the stronger it is, which wouldn’t be an issue except some of the rarities are like maybe one in every twenty or thirty packs.
Cookie-Cutters sadly come when your card pool becomes unbalanced.
Many say it happened with Invasion of Chaos, and I kind of agree
Yeah, that’s kind of a downer. It’s no different from fighting game tourneys at Evo. Sure, there are those certain folks who actually use different strategies, but in the long run, they’re all the same play-by-play no matter which character is used.
Never been in a tournament either.
And the fact that it’s always the same decks makes it predictable.
I kinda lost interest myself, the more expansions came out. Not to mention all those crappy regulations one would commonly see in tourneys. Not that I ever partook in one, but I chatted with some YuGiOh experts in college
There is a new Rarity out there in this new expansion.
That’s when I said, “Konami has lost it. I love the game, but screw you”
I agree on Polymerization. With the amount of fusion cards produced and how less the rare item needed for it is, it kind of screws over some people.
Ah, okay.
Still, the rarities they prin the real-world cards in are bullshit, and were bullshit from the beginning. Making Polymerization rarer than a good chunk of the fusion monsters in the first set that you can’t make without it, for example.
YGO Pro has all the cards, even anime. They charge nothing, it’s a freeware.
Are the rarities still designed to force anyone who wants to win to buy by the case?
The only reason I came back to play is due to playing the Tag Force games out of boredom. Then someone told me about YGOPro and the rest is story.
I don’t know, I just felt that old spark of playing again.
I haven’t played Yu-Gi-Oh in a long time, and hadn’t played it in a long time before that, so I can’t keep track of what is how broken.
100% agreed.
And not just those, there tons of cards not in the ban list that are just as broken, granted, they requiere a more situational combo to pull it off, but with each expansion it gets easier and easier.
I’m not saying there isn’t a reason, I’m just saying technically, Dark Hole is abusabl but Raigeki is MORE abusable.
This is where balance is put into play.
Cards like Raigeki, HFD, The Sixth Sense, etc. They all have one sided effects with little to no drawbacks.
Dark Hole has the “drawback” (term used very loosely) of destroying your own monsters and that itself was enough back then since Field Control decks were practically non existant.
But with how many cards exist than can stop destroying based cards, you would think it could be at least limited. Buuuuuut, that also means there’s more ways to recyle Raigeki and use it over and over giving you bigger field advantage with no drawbacks.
I hope that made sense.
