What happened was Trixie started shouting to give Maud an excuse to kiss her (the “threat” to kiss her if she doesn’t shut up). Then Trixie herself initiated the kiss to make it look like Maud used the excuse.
 
In Trixie’s head she can say Maud kissed her. Or she at least thinks this on some level. But she didn’t want to actually give Maud a chance to change her mind.
