I don’t think BP# 17 was trying to slut-shame, but point out that based on one’s lifestyle, one can go ad hominem just like on the flipside, a celibate person could be called a virgin as if celibacy is something to be ashamed of. Both points are valid, though.

Point one: She said that in reply to someone who said it is the makeup, so there was nothing invalid about that comment. Coming in with a different point of view than the one already being discussed does not change that.
 
Point two: Flirting and ~feminine wiles~ still do not make a girl a whore. Even one that knows and doesn’t shy away from using her own attractiveness shockingly can have the ability to refrain from sexing up anything that moves.
 
Frankly, this whole conversation is kinda terrible. Not to go all SJW, but this assumption that a girl who flaunts her femininity is a slut is just wrong. “Oh lighten up it’s just headcanon” based on the assumption that a girl who flaunts her etc. Kinda gross, guys.

It’s not the makeup, it’s the fact that Rarity is infamous in the show for sweet-talking males to get what she wants. There’s really no argument that she’s selling her sex appeal.
