And I suspect that Celestia has her own issues, of the “heavy is the head that wears the crown” variety, though she hides them well enough. (Whether that last part’s a good thing or a bad thing is debatable.)
@Toby Queef
It’s in-character based around the premise of the story, and especially the idea of if Pinkie, as she had said before, thought this was some sort of dream.
Or if she had a psychotic break, well, all bets are off, then.
@ZoaRenso
Because I believe this point in the story made clear that Pinkie isn’t in the right here.
That a clear majority of Deviantart members think precisely the opposite is difficult to understand for me, especially considering Pinkie’s internal monologue.
Yes, if Discord is sane, something is wrong.

Well her psychotic break resulted in an alternate personality… I suppose only Celestia and Applejack are exempt from the rules.
One can argue Discord, but I guess he could always be in a state of being perpetually psychotic.
Heck, the psychotic break thing even extends to Luna. Hence the whole “THE NIGHT WILL LAST FOREVER!” thing.
Oh, no question. :)
Point taken.
She’s the exception though.
Not quite Applejack’s thing, actually. She just gets really, really bad ideas, then hides from everypony.
Fair enough.
Now that I think about it, psychotic breaks are everypony’s thing.
Pinkie had several in the four seasons that the show has been out!
Sheesh, you make it sound like Twilight and Psychotic Breaks are like Derpy and her Muffins, or Sonata and her tacos…
Aren’t psychotic breaks more Twilight’s thing? Well, used to be her thing, she hasn’t had one since she got wings..

It might be an overreaction, but I can see how some people could find it cathartic.
time shenanigans friend..
time shenanigans~
She did?
…
Oh, I wasn’t aware this is all happening in the same universe.
I figured out Pinkie wasn’t right
in the headback when she punched Rarity in the first story.Because I believe this point in the story made clear that Pinkie isn’t in the right here.

i was the background pony, sorry forgot to log in.
but yes why are you shocked?
Do you mean the being shocked part, or the cheering?
O:
really? O vO
You know how people in this fandom get when somebody is being punished for something small in a overly violent way.
Yikes.
