Description

I wrote a small Greasemonkey script that highlights the images in the thumbnail view that have new unread comments posted to them. The script can track all images the user has viewed at least once after the installation.
 
The script can be installed from userscripts.org if you want to give it a try.

Thanks for the update, but it doesn’t seem to be working quite right.
 
The way it seems to be working right now is: if there are eight pages of new images and I load page 4. Page 4 will highlight properly, but pages 5-8 won’t highlight. If I then go to page 1, it will highlight properly, but pages 2 and 3 won’t. With the end result being that pages 1 and 4 highlight properly, but pages 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, and 8 not being highlighted.

Thanks for updating it.
 
But, if I am away for a while and then reload the site, new images that have been commented on before the refresh won’t be highlighted.
 
I am not sure how the script works, but if it is easy to find the largest numbered image it has data for; you could (when loading a new page) check if the first image is larger than the one you have data for, and if it is, set everything between the two to zero before highlighting things.
